In 2006, Working on Equipment in the Bag info

In 2006, we are introducting a new web site that is a spinoff of GolfInvestors. It is called "Equipment in the Bag". The URL for this web site is:

As the name of the web site alludes to, the site will contain information about what equipment is in the golf bag of various professional golfers. The goal is to obtian the information each week from tournaments played on the US PGA Tour and the European PGA Tour.

Most likely during the first couple of years we will only be ale to get the information for several golfers in each tournament. Hopefully we will eventually be able to get the equipment of each golfer that played in the tournament.

I do not know if we will be able to accomplish that goal, but that is what we are striving for.

This information is currently on the GolfInvestors web site. However, this information gets lost amongst all the other stuff being shown on GolfInvestors. As well, it is not the main priority of GolfInvestor as GolfInvestors is about stock markets. This "equipment in the bag" data is just additional information that GolfInvestors is collecting as part of its ancillary activities for being involved in the professional golf tournament segment of the golf industry.

How does showing equipment in the bag help users and GolfInvestors? We associate the equipment to the golf vendors so we can help them sell more of their products. GolfInvestors then gets a small percentage of the product sales. As well, the golfer whose equipment is being shown could get a percentage of the product sales.
