Deeper transparency

People are talking about radical transparency in practice with how media companies (i.e. newspapers, etc.) are starting to allow users to provide feedback on stories posted, voting on popular stories, etc. However, what they do not talk about is an even "deeper" level of transparency. That is, transparency by customers to actually vote on how money is allocate within one's organization.

For the last couple of years I have pondered the idea of allowing GolfInvestor users to allocate their funds to certain areas of operations within GolfInvestors. For example, users pay $50 and then they say I want 50% to go to "marketing" and 50% to go to "technology". Or they can say, "I do not care how you use the money, as I trust Gi management to use it wisely."
