US PGA Tour commercial contradicts itself
I like Chad Campbell. He is an old fashion Texan, even though he is young. He has values of what Texans used to be --- friendly and honest.
So I find it strange that Chad Campbell did a US PGA Tour "These guys are good" commercial. It seems to me that the commercial contradicts itself.
In the commercial Chad Campbell basically says that one should not promote one's self by saying:
"My parents taught me....if you have to tell the world how good you are, then you are probably not that good." -- Chad Campbell
I wholeheartedly believe in that philosophy. That is why I do hardly any marketing and advertising for GolfInvestors --- which, in some people's mind, is not a smart move.
As for the commercial, it is funded, produced, and presented by the US PGA Tour. Thus, it is a commercial promoting one's self. In this case the US PGA Tour is promoting itself -- telling the world how good they are.
Since the US PGA Tour has to tell people how good they are via the such commercials, does that mean they are really not as good as they say they are?
See the commercial for yourself....
